June 2022 News: A Message From the Artist

Hello, everyone!

Since relocating home from Oman in mid-December, I've been busy with meaningful work—having a baby, unpacking, renovating my home, and refocusing my attention from teaching art to making it. Recently, I accepted an invitation to join Foundation and have uploaded a collection of ten works from the Chameleon series as NFTs; in spite of the recent crashes, I am excited about the possibilities of this new medium and am looking forward to Ethereum's transition to a proof-of-stake currency, which will make it greener and more sustainable. I am also pleased to have gotten this new site online, with a blog and, hopefully soon, a shop. Finally, I am in the process of creating an artist page on Patreon to help enable a more full-time approach to artmaking.

Most importantly, I've got a number of canvases in the works! There's a backlog of ideas and sketches that need to be realized, including the piece below which was disrupted by my move overseas way back in 2012. Am hoping for a productive summer, and wishing the same to all of you as well. Please watch this space for more updates.
